The Naugatuck Valley Corridor Economic Development District (NVC EDD), in partnership with the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments (NVCOG), has released the draft 2026-2031 Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) for public review and comment.
About this Strategy
The CEDS serves as the region’s economic development roadmap and identifies priorities, strategies, and implementation actions intended to strengthen the regional economy, support job growth, improve infrastructure and transportation systems, encourage workforce and housing initiatives, revitalize downtowns and industrial properties, and enhance long-term economic resilience.
How to Participate
The draft CEDS is available on the NVC EDD page of the NVCOG website for a 30-day public comment period beginning May 12, 2026 and ending June 11, 2026.
Members of the public, partner organizations, businesses, municipalities, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the document and submit comments, recommendations, or suggested revisions.
