The Tax Office will be CLOSED Tuesday, June 30, 2026 for Year-End Processing.
All other Town Hall offices will be open for regular business. However, they are unable to accept any tax payments.
If you have back due taxes and would like to have your payment posted on June 30, 2026, you may go to the Post Office and mail your payment, but please be aware of the new USPS POSTMARK RULE and request to have your envelope hand-cancelled at the counter.

Payments for the 2025 Grand List Year can be made, beginning on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the following ways:
- In Person at the Tax Office
- Online at www.thomastonct.gov
- At Thomaston Savings Bank (Thomaston locations only). You must be current and have your original bill.
